Telemedicine — limits & emergency notice
Version 1.1 · As of 12 August 2026
Draft — legal review by a qualified lawyer is still pending. The content has been prepared carefully but has not yet been finally reviewed.
1. What telemedicine at BGGI Health provides
Video consultations and written medical assessments via the platform serve consultation, second opinions and treatment preparation. They do not replace a physical examination or on-site treatment.
The medical assessment is based exclusively on the documents and information you provide. Incomplete or outdated documents can significantly limit its validity.
2. Limits of remote treatment
Remote consultation is not suitable in particular for: acute emergencies, rapidly deteriorating conditions, prescriptions of controlled substances, and diagnoses that strictly require a physical examination or on-site diagnostic equipment.
The treating physician decides in each individual case whether remote consultation is medically justifiable and terminates it if an in-person visit is required.
AI-assisted pre-analyses on the platform are expressly NOT a medical diagnosis; they are always reviewed by humans.
3. Emergency demarcation
BGGI Health is NOT an emergency service. For acute, life-threatening symptoms (e.g. chest pain, shortness of breath, signs of paralysis, heavy bleeding, unconsciousness) call your local emergency number immediately: 112 in Germany and the EU.
For urgent but not life-threatening matters, use your country's on-call medical service (116 117 in Germany).
Requests via the platform are NOT monitored around the clock. A submitted request does not create a treatment relationship before a physician has accepted the case.
